Mount Triglav (2864 m) is the highest peak in the Julian Alps. This view is from Bohinj Village in the province of Gorenjska in northern Slovenia. Neighboring peaks Rjavec and Little Triglav are within view. According to the accompanying plaque, the first ascent was made on 26 August 1778 by Luka Korosec, Matevz Kos, Stefan Rozic, and Lovrenc Willomitzer.
