Owens Valley Tule Elk

Once almost extinct in the Western U.S., this elk species has made a comeback and the Owens Valley herd is now supplying animals for relocation to form new populations elsewhere in California and Oregon. Early morning, February, Sierra Nevada background.

I am putting together a photographic essay on the history of California's Tule Elk. I am looking for artists who would like to contribute. Would you be interested? I am trying to get photographs of tule elk in a variety of their different relocation sites. I see you have some from Owens Valley, any other California sites?
