Dimitre: All of these industrial images are digital format and the settings differ from conventional 35mm ones. 9mm would be equivalent to a wide angle setting. When shooting objects for extreme clarity it's important to have a tripod so you can go with long exposures (I often use a 'mini' so I don't have to drag around a large one) and a remote control or cable release can help immensely. Use the smallest aperture possible. Hope this helps you a little. - DC

Absolutely brilliant! I once spent time taking similar shots. Correction, taking shots of industrial objects. I did not come close. Someone asked about the camera you sed and you do indicate the type of lenses used, but somehow shots where you say you used a 9mm lens do not look like they were taken with a 9mm. Am i wrong? If you could give any insight or advice that would help me capture those types of shot with such clarity and perfect exposure, i would be most grateful. Dimitri

seems like this could almost be two galleries to me, one of industry and one of architecture, my eye saw them in two groups. ones i loved were pumping station, industrial giants (all 3) water tank, trying rebar, and coronado bridge. they seem to be telling one story, and the other photos another story. maybe if it was one gallery still, but on two seperate pages? I think your photos are wonderful, thanks... denie
