Hi Gunny, Tamiya kit boy and I were there and we had many a good banter along the way, I don't think I will have hurt his feelings too much. And anyway there's 3000 miles of wet stuff between us so yar boo. Jos.
Comments from Guest were a little harsh but essentially true - just a little more difficult to source the correct stuff in metal rather than warm up another bit of sprue. (joke) point taken about the goggles tho'.
Yep damn good photos, excellent site Mr St Lo.

Gunny - After looking at the Comments section for the rest of the photos, I believe that the Tamiya kit remark was made as a compliment. It seems that "Guest" is a modeler and judges authenticity by what is represented in one of these kits. Just my guess, of course.

I'll just say to C.B. and "guest", that if you two guys weren't there, then you can both just have a giant cup of Shut The **** Up!
Have a nice day and these are damn good photos!

C.B. and "Guest"- I don't know what your problem is but Jim isn't acting and the half-track kit comment is juvenile.

I would describe this man's acting as more "wooden" than plastic ! :)

This guy looks like a figure from the Tamiya half-track kit ! The church spire is great in the background
