Grand Canyon in Infrared

These images were made with a Nikon d90, modified with an internal 665nm Infrared filter. The 665 cutoff allows a bit of visible color along with the higher Infrared wavelengths. The colors you see in the images were created in post-processing using Photoshop CS2.

These photos were made September, 2009.

Very creative work and very cool results. This certainly puts a different twist on the old Grand Canyon Holiday snaps.
