This house is quite controversial. It is one of two houses in Mill Creek. Before the house was built the City tried to expropriate the land as they wanted to keep Mill Creek as a park. But their expropriation failed. They then refused to issue a building permit. That failed also.

A victory for landowner’s rights but a defeat for the citizens and environmentalists.
