This is in the park adjacent to our condominium complex.

Two nights ago, we had a severe wind storm. A combination of the high winds and trunk rot caused this beautiful tree to collapse.

I have walked by it many times but never noticed it was sick. This serves to remind me that I should also be more attentive of the people in my life.

Attentive to the people in your life. An important lesson. If they pass it is is too late.....

In my home town they'd often say 'there's many a big spud rotten lad'.

What a pity about the tree, and a valuable lesson for all of us. V.
