Sundance Power Plant

I had photographed this scene about 12 years ago. However, it was one of the images I lost when my hard drive crashed about 2 years ago.

The power plant is located next to a lovely road for motorbiking. So, the other day I took my bike and paid a second visit.

Not much has changed in 12 years. The top of the building, which was a bright red has faded, making this ideal for a monotone image.

I used to live close to a cooling pond in the northern west of England as a child. There were tropical fish living in the pond, presumably released there by owners who no longer wanted them!

Fine shot of this power plant and environs. I find B&W perfect for this kind of facility. V.
