This poor beaver is about half a kilometer from where it should be. It is in a ditch in the middle of a residential area.

I met a lady who was on her cell phone trying to get the City wildlife officer to come out. She told me the beaver has been there for two days. It appears to be ill. You can see the twigs it fed on and the little bit of ditch water it could wet itself in.

Hopefully, the city gets out soon. I do not think it will survive long if there is no help for it.
