Talbot Lake

This area was completely burnt out about six or seven years ago. The deciduous trees are the first to grow back. In the summer it is hard to see them from across the lake. But in the fall when their leaves turn to gold you can see how much they have grown in. I think these are larch trees. In time the conifers will take over. Likely not in my life time.

Love the big open sky.

Very well composed with this low horizon line and emphasis on the clouds. Nice to see how the area has made a comeback from the fire. "V"
