Approaching Chongqing

Yangtze River, Chongqing

It amazed me to discover that Chongqing is in fact the most populated city in China with a population of around 31 million.
I must confess I had never even heard of it before my trip to China!

I like the feel of this image - approaching the city up or down river for the first time must be quite something - back in May from my third trip there - it just amazes me more each time.
