Bagels–the food created three centuries ago in Europe–are proving to be lifesavers for modern Americans in a hurry for a snack . . . I found the background pattern on a tablecloth in a local store, photographed it, the model, the bagels, and ducks at a local pond, then assembled the final image in Photoshop.
