Took a trip to the Hardware store with Hubby, thought I take my camera along. All kinds of different ropes.. this is like peppermint candy.

Have you seen Jeremy's Ace Hardware Gallery? This would fit right in. I think it's a great shot, btw. Abstract in its own way, as you've pointed out. Could be any number of things.
