Well I took this photo at 1:30 and it was 122 degrees at the time. That cactus flower is holding up pretty good in those temps. I have to say I was a little wilted myself.

Kind of puts "scorching" into perspective. Nice comp for the photo, Linda (not as good of an effort from the cactus and flower ;^)).
