Calidris ruficollis
This bird was originally found on Plum Island, MA 6/27/2013. It spent a few days there and was then relocated on the east end of Long Island, NY 7/2/2013. It was very foggy when I shot these pics, but well worth the trip and long walk through ankle-high water to see and photograph this rarity.
