our garden (translates as "joint pleasure") is 2+ acres of shady and hilly woodland, roughly square, with lots of native kalmia and R. maximum, dogwoods and oaks, and a few native azaleas. The house is at the middle rear of the property, with a (currently dry) stream behind it, and a long driveway coming in from the east edge of the property. The back (west) half of the garden is still natural, with plantings and paths concentrated along the front half.
The Tour of Kairaku... images are arranged as a roughly circular tour, coming in the driveway from the east, and going clockwise around the house and back out, with some detours via other "galleries". The more recent "Spring at Kairaku..." images are in no particular order.
