trail...

The Forney Ridge Trail to Andrews Bald starts at the west end of the parking lot for Clingmans Dome. It starts out very rocky, and descends about 500' over the course of a mile or less. It then smooths out, and rises and falls 100' or so in about another half mile to the bald.
