Death Valley is an amazing place. Vast expanses of desert are surrounded by majestic mountains. Here are some shots I took in February, 2003. They were taken with Canon EOS 3 and either Fuji Velvia 50 or Provia 100. Lenses were Canon 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS, 16-35 f2.8L, and 100-400 f4.5-5.6L IS. They were scanned on a Nikon SC 4000 and adjusted in PhotoShop. Be sure to click on each picture's thumbnail to see a large version.
