One of my hobbies is shooting and teaching hunter safety. I helped out at a Junior Pheasant Hunt on the Santa Margarita Ranch in Santa Margarita, CA. All of these kids have been through hunter safety class. We did a short refresher on safety, did some warm up shooting with clay pigeons, and then took them into the field. We planted farm raised birds and used trained dogs to flush the birds. In the field it was a dog handler with a dog and one instructor for every two students. All the kids had a great time.
