Jan 29 - Hike at Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve

Did a 12 mile hike at the Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve with Sandy, Sherri and John.

Started the hike at 9:12, in the clouds, at the Hicks Road entrance.

The trails were a bit damp. but not too bad.
Lots of rushing water in the creeks.
The trail got fairly steep as we hiked to the top of the ridge of Mt. El Sombroso.

The sky cleared up along the top of the ridge. Great views of the valley as we hike back down
to the Kennedy Road trailhead.

We got back to the Kennedy Road trailhead at around 2:30.
