Spent the last two nights camping at Kirby Cove in the Marin Headlands.

Great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and of the San Francisco skyline.

We saw the remains of two concrete fortifications of Battery Kirby, which were built to
protect the SF bay around the turn of the 20th century.

Lot of big container ships passed under the bridge and the fog horns were blowing
as evening came. But the night was quiet, except for the neighbor campers who partied
well into the early morning.
