Satellite Gazing

More fun with the night sky.

Here is a pic of six geosynchronous Satellites ( the fixed dots) amongst the moving
stars ( streaks of light ).

4 min exposure at ISO 400.

The camera and the telephoto lens were mounted on a 6 in. Newtonian telescope,
which was used a big aperature finder scope.

The picture is cropped 50%, did a histogram stretch to darken the background and to
brighten the sats and stars and sharpened a little bit.

Thanks to Jim for finding the sats.

WOW. This is excellent... was it a fluke, or did you know where the satellites were?
