Five brave souls decided to risk it and do the ride this morning. Bryan Murahashi, Bill Henry,
Gambling on the weather, Linda Reisinger, Sherri Johnson and I met at the new parking lot
off Silver Creek Valley Blvd for the start. We rolled out in somewhat cold temps but after about
10 or 15 minutes of cycling were warm and comfortable. It was sunny most of the time and the
clouds were spectacular. We stopped at the model plane airport for a bit and continued onto
Morgan Hill missing the climb up to Anderson Dam this time. We decided to eat lunch at the new
Sinaloa Cafe which is now located in downtown MH. Chuck Tribolet joined us for lunch and had his
usual cheese enchiladas.
The food was good, but the ambiance of the old place that burned down is missing.
Our return started out very cold and threatening. We made like ladybugs and tried to 'fly away
home.' But, it didn't take long before the weather eased up and we didn't get a single drop of rain.
34 miles, 4 hours of sightseeing and pedaling, good lunch, good company, good day.
