We first saw this dolphin when he was surfing our wake as we were cruising flocks of birds over bait. He seemed pretty curious and just swam up to the boat when we stopped. Paul splashed some water around with his hand to call him in closer. He was immediately named "Joey" for no particularly apparent reason. You can tell by the look on Paul's face that he was pretty okay with this greeting from his new buddy.
