Paul had to work hard for this big redfish on Labor Day! It's his biggest ever. I was poling the boat in about 10" of water along a grass shoreline, when I spotted this guy not 15 feet away. Paul flipped a live croaker to him that he had cast-netted the day before. The big red swam over and looked at the croaker, but did not eat him right away. Paul twitched it once and he moved over to look closer. He twitched it again and he sucked it down! Paul whipped him in just a couple of minutes and I didn't realize how big he was until we got him on board. He measured 25.5" and weighed 5.5 pounds.
