Phillip holds a big cutthroat trout that mauled a big dry fly (Stimulator). He measured 21.5", which puts him in the trophy category for the Gunnison River. He was released to grow bigger if he can do it.

I'll definitely have to get a bigger net next year. I couldn't get this fish completely in the net and he flopped out twice while I was trying to land him for Phillip. It was amazing he didn't get off in the process.
