This is a photo Lou Giroud sent me to study the qualities of the Tokina 12-24mm. I haven't come up with the money or great need for the lens, so no purchase. However, after getting Nikon Capture 4.4 I thought one of his photos might be a good test of what highlights you can recover with NC 4.4.

This was shot: auto white balance, auto tone, saturation normal, color mode sRGB Ia, sharpening high. It's a bit flat, but only a bit of blown highlights in the clouds, not a big deal and detail still in the shadows.
