Electro 35

Yashica Electro 35. David Mingay has one too. Only one other pbaser has one featured in his gallery.

Playing with my SB-800 in manual mode, main light was above at 1/64 power and 45 degree tilt with white card pulled out, and a flash head width in front of the subject. Flash on camera was at 1/128 power and pointed straight up to trigger the main light. Coolest thing is how sharp this lens is.

1/200s f/11 at 55.0mm iso200 with Flash full exif

Are you going to use the Yashica? I'm sorry I didn't have a manual to send with it but you can go to yashica guy or some such place and get the lowdown on it. And.... I actually thought about getting a D70 so I could put that Micro Nikkor lens on it... but then I came to...

Nice shot Mark. It just so happens that I have an Electro 35 on the way from an Ebay auction. David has gotten me hooked on 70's vintage rangefinders. My first was a Canon QL17 which doesn't work but it looks cool ;-)
