Today we gave a free concert to about 1200 DC public school children. The various sounds of the organ were demonstrated and the brass players showed how they played and then played a bit of the 1812 Overture on their mouthpieces. The timpani was demonstrated and we sang a few carols, Handel's Hallelujah Chorus and one song from the weekend's concerts. The kids seemed to enjoy it. I took this with the Coolpix just before we went "on stage."
