"Como agua para chocolate"

Okay, I had to try it. But I didn't have an olive like Jeanne, or cherries like Ian, or strawberries and cream like John. Instead I used a chocolate-covered almond...gasp! Now I see that I need to go back and move the flash to get a better white background, or learn how to do layers in PS. But I wanted a quick shot for tonight. First frame, too late. Second frame almost, but too little splash. Third frame, was just right--higher and sooner. The next few frames made a mess on the paper, but weren't any good. So it's really just luck.

Oh, no fight with the significant other to take this. I've got two hands, and besides, she's just a fantasy. LOL!

I'm getting a big kick out of all this cross fertilization that is going on sibling-wise, ian-wise, and john-wise.
All three of you are making a pretty big splash.
Excellent work here Mark.

Fantastic Mark:)

WOW! See, you and Ian used a flash, I used tungsten lights and John used...daylight?

Very cool, though, and only 3 shots and no fighting!! I know I COULD have done it with a freaking cable release, and believe me, there will be a re-shoot next time I'm ALONE at home. ALso, I've learned that in order to get the spouse to play photo games, you must first make him DRINK the martini....Clever plan for next time!

ANyway, Mark, this is well done!

The splash has so much detail and makes the shot. Hopefully, you drank up after you were done!
