The Quad

After a cool but sunny morning the rain and cold weather came. As usual I was caught without a jacket or umbrella. And I know that "spring" in Washington is either hot or cold, but never "spring." Always carry an umbrella.

The light on this tree was really nice, for a moment. I seem to have missed it. Also, the image has no actual point in focus that I could find at 100% in the original file size on my monitor. Either I pressed the shutter before the camera had a chance to focus, four times! or the Coolpix and it's dinky little lens and 3.2mp chip just can't resolve much detail in a large scene. (The f-stop can not go higher at this focal length, unless it's super bright out and the camera chooses a higher f-stop. I have no control over f-stop.)
