March 21, 2004

My regular bike ride. Few people were out today. I thought it was cold, so I put on my extra warm (and expensive!) riding tights. It was 42F, with a 23 mph NW wind. I thought the wind was pretty darn strong from the NW. Temperature with the wind chill was 27F/-2C. Of course when the wind was at my back I was going about 22mph. I took this with my new "Ultraclamp" from PEDCO, mounted on the aerobars of my bike The camera had some trouble focusing and I think I should zoom it to about 50mm (35mm equiv.) so it's seeing things as I do. With almost nobody on the road it wasn't nearly as cool as it could be.

This looks better at the original size which will fit well if your screen resolution is 1152x864.

Nikon Coolpix 3100
1/420s f/2.8 at 5.8mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Cool image... you must be a dedicated rider... brrrr! Of course, just having the sunshine is pretty nice, isn't it? Hope we'll see more with this perspective.
