Snow Drops.

Yesterday morning my neighbor said there were snow drops in the garden and they'd been out since December. Well, they've been covered with snow for a while, but sure enough there they were. Yesterday's efforts to photograph them were worse than today's. The macro feature doesn't work as well when there's lots of stuff in the background. But at least some of them are in focus today!

Yes, if I had a DSLR I might have chosen a high f-stop and gotten them both in focus, or if I had bothered to lay my face in the dirt I might have tried using the near one as an out of focus frame for the far ones in focus. As it was I held the camera at ground level and pointed it where I thought the flowers would be and clicked. Checked and tried again. Pretty lame, but I was on my way to work and didn't have all day.

I thought yours looked like snow drops but then, they looked a bit different so I wasn't sure.

Nice shot. I have recently posted a snow drop shot. It's a shame the first one isn't in focus though.

Pretty! Nicely exposed too.

They look so delicate - yet they've survived all the snow!

Very nice.
I tried to take ours this afternoon but only six had come up and they looked rather sparse.

Mark, these are beautiful. Makes me hope that Spring isn't far behind.

WOW - this is like a reverse Macro shot! It makes me want to ask - How did you do that?
