10th May

Every time I travel along this lane I can't get over how green it is. I've tried to capture that here. The shot itself is quite poor - my very cheap lens causing terrible purple fringing :(

Canon EOS 10D

You did capture the greenness perfectly. Very nice. I wouldn't worry about the fringing. I had to look really hard and only because you mentioned it. :)

I love it Geoff

I spoke about ambiance, sorry for the fault.

The place looks so quite and nice that fringing is not important anymore. In this picture, all you look at is the amniance, a nice place in nature. Poor picture, but so rich in what it contains and tells you.

I really don't see any purple fringing...but anyway ...that is a lovely photo. Very tranquil...

Lovely road with the tree tunnel effect - hard to capture - but I think you've done it well

the greenery in this photo is amazing. It reminds me of Epping Forest in Buckhurst Hill,England.

I see a lot of green fringing, anyway, that lens is a real dog ;-)

just how often DO you get travel this road?? This is waaay cool . . .a perfect place for a four seasons type shot (hint, hint)

On my screen the purple fringing doesn't show at all. Instead I see a dark forest path (my monitor is dark here at work) and I like it. Ann C

I don't see a problem with this shot at all ... it's lovely!

These are so fascinating and right now they are at their best
I wish my purple fringing was half as serious as yours:-)
