30th April

Well, I've played with my new 10D a bit today - Not as much as I would have liked as I'm not feeling too good. It's a lot harder than my Minolta but then my Minolta had spot metering and I have to shoot properly with this one! A wonderful learning curve lies ahead of me.

I thought I'd have a go at shooting my (willing?) model Joey.

I NEED SOME HELP!

Look at the EXIF for this shot - 0 sec shutter speed?????? I seem to be losing some exif data during applying my PS action to frame and sign the image. The exif is there in the Canon software. I had no trouble with this yesterday (see yesterdays shot) - all the exif is intact. I don't understand it? I tried it on other shots taken today and have the same problem. Anyone else experienced this?

Canon EOS 10D
0.00s at 80.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Great shot. Congrats on your 10D. I don't know about your exif data. Mine works fine in PS CS. Enjoy Joey and your 10D. Roberta

Such a pretty tiger. You did great with this. Looks like you're mastering the camera fine. No idea about the exif. Very weird.

This little guy looks soooo proud... as if posing for you. Very nicely captured..

Lovely shot of the cat looking into the future. PS is a pain in the photo production information highway.

Well, well, well. The new EOS 10D seems to be working great. I guess the guy pushing the button must have some talent, also. BTW, the 10D can be set for spot metering if you prefer that.

Fantastic! The dof AND THE FOCUS, right were they supposed to be!

You lose the exif data if you crop a photo. At least that's been my experience. Then you have to copy it into pbase or just let it go. Data aside, this is an excellent image. The cat looks so mellow I get sleepy looking at it.

Wow, I think you're doing great! What a fantastic shot - the clarity is excellent, the colors, and I think your exposure is perfect in this case.
