Clevedon Pier

These are photographs of Clevedon Pier in North Somerset, UK. Clevedon Pier represents one of the finest surviving Victorian piers in the country, not only retaining its simple uncluttered decks, but displaying a degree of elegance not found in any other pier in Britain. It was built in 1869.

Having used the pier to board the MV Balmoral, your photographs are truly memorable.. for me especially the one of sunset behind the pier end

Hi Geoff,

Stunning pictures of the pier, Geoff.

We holidayed nearby a week ago partly so I could see / photograph the pier myself, though not up to your standard I'm afraid.

I also own a small record company, and intend to use the pier on our next CD cover - modelled on your photo (image/24973321). Thanks for the inspiration,
