Indigo 2007

I've never seen this shade of indigo blue before except on spray painted poinsettias. But indigo was these lovely flowers' natural color.

This was the true color as I found it. I did not know what the flower was when I first saw it. Just that it was a very striking color of which I'd never before seen on any live flower. These flowers were randomly encountered during a walk. So I have no idea of what the name of the variety may be. However, you have really captured my curiosity.

Liz, this beautiful image brings me back to my obsession of previous years to find 'true blue' Clematis for my garden--my house trim is French blue. I've often said that if I had a dollar for every supposedly 'blue' Clematis I bought which turned out to be some version of lavender or purple instead of blue, I'd be a millionare! Is this the 'true' color? What is its name? Thanks, Karen

It's lighter!
Although nothing in weight in comparison to the 600mm, the Sigma 150mm isn't the world's lightest macro. My shoulder is still aching from the other day with the Mark III; so I needed to give the bod a chance to recover. Plus I still love my 20D, too. She serves me well.
