Correct me if I am wrong about this identification.

These birds were in the far distance & difficult to photograph - even with the double extender on my 600mm.

The other possibility is a Snowy Egret. Both types of Egrets normally do not frequent this particular Wildlife Refuge and are considered quite rare sightings. Wish I could have gotten closer.
