New Replacement 5-30-26

Pimiko Spruce

After dying last Summer following the June install, the original fair-sized Mugo Pine got replaced under warranty with this very tiny Pimiko Spruce. Although this specific Pimiko is smaller than expected, my main problem is that it arrived just yesterday with a sizable number of brown dead branches on the lower part. That is concerning. There is no warranty on the warranty replacement. I would have felt better about this situation if we had received a completely healthy-looking plant. But I guess beggers can't be choosers. The bush removed had been a total dried out crispy critter since 2025. I hope this one somehow recovers. The warranty replacement guy did admit that yes, the new bush does look like it could have problems. However, this was all they could find to give us. We were in no position to refuse it... Meanwhile, my butterfly stake brightens up the scene and makes the dead areas less noticeable.
