Sedum

Sedum spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco' is a broadleaf stonecrop, recognized for its attractive, powdery gray-green leaves that can take on a purplish hue in cooler weather. The leaves are spoon-shaped and form rosettes on creeping stems, creating a dense ground cover. This plant typically grows to a height of 2 to 4 inches and can spread up to 24 inches wide, making it an excellent choice for filling spaces in gardens. In summer, it produces clusters of bright yellow star-shaped flowers that attract butterflies and other pollinators.
