Snow showers, that had started earlier in the day, were turning the world white around sunset. Despite the temperature being just 28 degrees Fahrenheit, I impulsively popped outside while wearing only a light tee-shirt and open slippers. This happened during the middle of our dinner. Nevertheless, I absolutely couldn't resist. Kind of a normal "Liz reaction" when a photo moment calls. All day up until then, there had been non-stop, sustained winds of 35 MPH with gusts up to 60 MPH. That hadn't improved. I still went outside and took my photo anyhow. Then, it took the next half hour for me to "thaw out".
