Valentine Gift 2-12-25

For Tara

This puppy is getting so spoilt.

I had this gift basket custom made up just for Tara. Most of the dog toys inside are way too big to interest our other Chihuahuas. But Tara strangely likes "big dog" sized toys. Although Valentine's Day is still two days away, the toys inside have that theme. When I put the basket on the floor for Tara to just look at it in advance, she immediately proceeded to grab hold of the ribbons holding the clear wrapping paper closed and dragged the whole thing across the kitchen floor. So whatever size of the toys are inside, it's obvious that they won't be too big for her. There are supposed to be 5 dog toys and a bag of treats inside. So, all that wasn't light for a tiny Chihuahua to drag around. Tara currently is just over 3 pounds. We'll probably finished unwrapping the basket tomorrow to let Tara have her Valentine toys a day early.

Meanwhile, she had a fantastic time today playing with the wrapped basket with everything still in it. She managed to drag it all around the kitchen about a dozen times. Plus, she removed all the ribbons and gift tag. The videos I took of Tara with the basket are hilarious. This is one unique Chihuahua puppy.

FYI, the Sweatshirt that Tara is wearing was bought just for her, too. Since she's going to eventually be bigger than our other girls, she'll outgrow it. Then, tiny Bailey will get an "almost new" hot pink Valentine outfit. It's too small for either Bella or Chile. Tomorrow, we'll get to see exactly what toys are inside the basket and if any are small enough for Tara to share with her older adopted "sisters".

It looks like what she lacks in size, Tara more than makes up for in pawsonality.

Cute capture and narrative, but an understatement about her getting so spoiled ;-).
