Christmas Day is the first of the 12 days of Christmas. The 12 Days is viewed by Christians as the amount of time it took the three magi, or wise men, to travel to Bethlehem for the Epiphany. Therefore, the "Christmas Season" does not end on Christmas Day, but instead continues until January 6th. Though entirely secular in its appearance, the Christmas carol (with this name) actually contains much deeper meaning.

Our family believes the Christmas season continues until January 6th.
