Now that Tara has her freedom, Bailey wants no part of her.

Bailey runs away and tries to hide. She'll even snap (not that her snapping is "for real") when the puppy gets in her face. Twelve-week-old, extra wild Tara is too much for a calm, 11-year-old senior citizen. When Bella first arrived over 7 years ago, Bailey felt pretty much the same way about Bella. Bailey doesn't like being pounced on. Of course, Tara doesn't understand. She likes Bailey and wants to play with her. But until Tara calms down a little, it looks like we're going to have to keep these two separated to protect Bailey.

In the photo above, Tara is all wet from Bella chewing on her. Our Chihuahua family dynamics are going to be interesting for the next few weeks.
