Our poor old "GE Profile" refrigerator (who was top-of-the-line in her day) is still limping along. She has stopped running 5 times between https://pbase.com/britestar/image/174822310 and now. Fortunately, each time (after several hours of dormancy), she then springs back to life when I ask her to please keep going. It seems like every time that my husband moves her a little, she quits because she knows he's going to get rid of her for a shiny, new model. He also keeps moving her to do whatever he has been doing to tear up the old kitchen floor and repair the subfloor damage done where she's been silently leaking for a while. The last piece of the old kitchen floor (that I absolutely loved) is now under her to control her leaks.

Our kitchen aisles are 4 feet wide. Since she more than blocks the aisle between the end of the center island, old "GE Profile" must be wider than that. Who knew? Well, I didn't until now. Considering replacement size measurements, we've decided to go with a new frig that is as deep of the old one & not a more modern, counter flush model with less room inside. I like a roomy frig. The new frig is on "back order"... So, the old one needs to keep going for a while longer. I think, for now, my husband is finished in moving our old girl around until the delivery folks (with her replacement) haul her away.
PS Hope she didn't hear the "haul her away" sentiment and completely stops now.
