This time (unlike in 2017 https://pbase.com/britestar/2017_solar_eclipse), we only experienced a partial Solar Eclipse (90%) at our house.
Although not as memorable as experiencing Solar Night (as we did 7 years ago), it definitely was still worth stopping to watch moon slowly cover the sun at midday.
The next total Solar Eclipse to touch the USA won't be for another 20+ years. The total Solar Eclipse in 2045 (more widespread) will be only a partial eclipse where we live & barely touch our metro. However, I guess I could travel to catch that event. The next Total Solar Eclipse that will be completely visible in our area won't be before the year 2200. Unless reincarnation is real, I know I'll be missing that one 176 years away.
