Habituated 3-06-24

Our next-door neighbor, who feeds the deer, has created a problem for the entire neighborhood. These deer are at the property line where 4 lots (including ours) join. For whatever reason, the residents in this home (catty corner to us) built close to their property line. If the deer get any closer to that house, they will be looking into the bedroom windows!!!

From my backyard, I spotted no less than 20 different deer roaming the neighborhood that eventually ended up at the next-door neighbors to eat the grain and carrots being put out there on a daily basis. I like animals, but this situation has gotten out of hand.

I'm not sure they are doing the deer any favors. It is always best to avoid feeding wild animals.

Nice shot of the deer, but not a good situation in your neighborhood.

I think we might live in a more rural area and the deer are out of hand here, without the special feeding!

We have zillions of them even without anyone feeding them. They will feed on all sorts of things including trees and a lot of the things in our garden.
