A running account of the day: https://www.tonyskansascity.com/2023/02/chinese-spy-balloon-obession-captures.html
Obviously, my photo above is a Cell Phone/TV news capture. Although it was floating around the area for a while, I didn't see the "spy balloon" in person. If I had known that it was photographable, I might have gone out to look before it moved on East.

On another note, recreational marijuana sales started in Missouri today: https://fox4kc.com/news/mo-marijuana/long-lines-sheepish-grins-on-missouris-first-day-of-recreational-marijuana-sales/ But that had nothing to do with the Chinese spy balloon spottings... However, marijuana sales may have had a loose connection to some of the remarks and grievances in the comments section of Tony's blog.
Reactions from local politicians concerning the balloon over Missouri: https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/what-is-that-locals-politicians-react-to-chinese-spy-balloon-spotted-around-kansas-missouri
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Pentagon said at midday Friday that a Chinese spy balloon was over the central United States, and that the U.S. rejected China’s claims that it was not being used for surveillance. The Pentagon press secretary, refused to provide details on exactly where the balloon was or whether there was any new consideration of shooting it down. People in Kansas City and later in St Louis could tell them where it was... Meanwhile, the military has ruled out shooting the balloon down (for now) due to potential risks to people on the ground. So, all you folks in the East, look to the sky. You might be soon seeing China's spy balloon for yourselves. It certainly has been the talk of the town here. Rightfully so. It lingered in the Kansas City area for quite a while.
