Yellow Jacket Wasp or Yellow Jacket Hover Fly

I'm allergic to the wasp. Been to the ER a couple of times for their stings.

However, I'm not nearly as allergic as my uncle who always carried an EpiPen & nearly died from a sting. Oddly, he was a farmer. So, his chance of dangerous accidental encounters with all kinds of bees and wasps was pretty high.
