No COVID talk at our house.

Instead, we spent our day in "social isolation" watching football on TV. A pleasant day.
Dinner was carry-out pizza and hot wings. What else would one have on a day like today?

The hometown team even won the "big" football game. Hurray!!!

For the second year in a row, the Kansas City Chiefs (2020 Super Bowl Champions) are now headed back to the Super Bowl.

However, unlike last year, this year I won't be participating in any of the "real time, in person" celebrations.
I'm so used to living real life myself to the fullest - and NOT merely sitting on the sidelines & watching vicariously. Therefore, not being in the middle of the action kind of dampens some of the excitement about today's win. A Pandemic changes things... Hitting a Pause Button on normal life has been very hard... but necessary.

Meanwhile, it seems like I'm getting pretty good (eye roll) at combining my Cell Phone Cam and the TV. Just 6 months or so ago, I never, ever dreamed I'd do this. I would have said that I never would. In fact, I wouldn't have!!! But above is another collage I did from that combination. Sigh. It was a totally COVID safe experience. That's the way to roll with mass gathering experiences until the pandemic is a thing of the past.

My husband and I and our Chi girls spent the day together as family. So it was a good day.

Because my husband has to get up early for work tomorrow, he just went to bed. I'm staying up to watch a special edition of the "Late, Late Show" on TV. More talk about football and the game today. Plus a lot of humor.

"Real photos" taken today can be found in some of my other galleries. Yes, I do still use a real camera, and yes, I do still photograph more than the TV screen. But when all has been said & done, I realize that I surprisingly actually like having the memory collage above; even if it was not my own real life, "in person" experience. I will remember the day.

Although THIS time wasn't my own "in person experience", there will be other "real life" times and other "in person" experiences AGAIN; someday in the future. That is why we are currently sticking to our "Safer-at-Home" regiment to keep us safe meanwhile.
